Training
During the winter months we meet at Trinity & All Saint's College, located on Brownberrie Lane. Excellent male and female changing facilities are available. We meet there at 6:30pm from late September to early April and retire for a drink afterwards in Students' Union bar or the Grey Horse on Long Row.
The rest of the year we meet at Surprise
View car park on top of Otley Chevin. This is located off Yorkgate
and nearly opposite The Royalty pub. This location has no changing facilities
and no showers! Members change in their cars, and have a drink in The
Royalty afterwards.
We usually run in three groups - catering for all abilities. Routes are
chosen appropriately and are between 2 and 8 miles in length. Members
run as a group - always waiting for the slower runners to catch up. Most
routes have short cuts back.
Short and long distance sessions are alternated week by week. The short session may include hill work, speed work or a mixture of the two.
