The following races have been chosen for the Fellandale Runner of the Year trophy competition 2007.

1. Competitors must complete four races to be eligible for the Runner of the Year Trophy.

2. One race to be completed from each distance (short, medium, long) category and one     more from any category.

Handicaps

Points are calculated as follows:

• 20 points scored by the runner taking the least time on handicap.

• If there are two or less runners in a race, the runner or the faster of the two runners
 must have completed in a time within 40% of the race winner's time in order to get
 20 points.

 40% - 50%      20 - 18 points
 50% - 60%      18 - 16 points
 60% - 70%      16 - 14 points
 70% - 80%      14 - 12 points

• Minimum number of points for single runner or fastest of two runners will be 12 points.

• The slower of two runners gets points in time proportion to the points given to the faster.

• Minimum number of points after proportioning is 1.

• One additional point to be awarded for each race completed up to maximum of 15 points.
