Fellandale's club championship is known as "The Runner of the Year" or ROTY for short. Each year a number of races are designated to be included in the championship. The first Fellandaler to finish in each race takes home 15 points, second takes 14 points and so on down to 1 point. At the end of the year the runner with the most points is crowned "Runner of the Year". There are prizes for first, 2nd and 3rd place in the ROTY league, and the Shirley Hodgson Shield is awarded to the first Lady in the league.
