It's easy to become a member of Horsforth Fellandale - we are not a cliquey club and welcome runners of all abilities and ages. We do not have a junior section, and all runners range between 17 and 70. The majority of members are in their late 20's to late 40's.
All you need to do is to turn up at a training session (ready to run
of course!) on a Wednesday night at 6:30pm. From mid September to mid
April we meet at Trinity
& All Saint's College Sports Centre, Brownberrie Lane; from mid
April to mid September we meet at Surprise
View car park on top of Otley Chevin (located off Yorkgate nearly
opposite The Royalty pub).
There is no pressure to join straight away, as we prefer you to make the decision that you want to become a member. Members will accompany you when running to introduce themselves and the types of routes that we train on.
We meet afterwards in the cricket club bar or The Royalty for a friendly drink and chat, or to discuss running events we are about to enter.
If you feel as though you'd like more information about the club, please email the , Andy Challinor or call him on (0113) 258 5691.
