here for the report and results of the 2001 race The Danefield
Relay was established in 1998 as a local inter-club competition. It has
become very successful with up to 50 teams competing. The course attracts
fell runners, cross country runners and road runners as it utilises existing
tracks and paths through a popular woodland/ plantation setting (with
distance views over Otley and Wharfedale). It includes some surprising
descents and ascents - particularly on the change over! It is very well
marshalled, and specators are welcome throughout the course.
